• New collaborative project launched to explore the impact COVID-19 on young minoritised adults
  The project, ‘Navigating Space Under Lockdown’, led by Barbara Lipietz, Daniel Oviedo and Jordana Ramalho at the DPU alongside partners at The Ubele Initiative, aims to capture the effects of COVID-19 and lockdown on young racialised/minoritised
• Video produced from ‘civic urban media’ engagement on responses to COVID-19 in informal settlements
  Alongside partners in Brazil and Nigeria, the DPU facilitated a series of discussion exploring responses to COVID-19 in informal settlements in São Paulo and Lagos through communication practices, and how civic urban media can help to secure the right to housing.
• The DPU contribute to the capacity building component of The Global Future Cities Programme
  DPU’s Barbara Lipietz and Catalina Ortiz delivered a presentation titled ‘Inclusive Prosperity: from urban projects to strategic spatial planning systems’ to more than 250 attendees
