Academic tools for better collaboration with NGOs
The Accountability Research Center (ARC) is based in American University’s School of International Service. We collaborate with our partners to contribute to global thinking on how to improve public accountability and build more inclusive societies. Naomi Hossain Martinsone, Research Professor at the Accountability Research Centre, spoke on our webinar on NGO and researcher collaboration. Watch the video.
We share Accountability Research Center’s resources that aim to support better collaboration between NGOs and researchers.
Accountability Keywords: Accountability terms often have different meanings, to different actors, in different contexts – and in different languages. The Accountability Keywords project addresses “what counts” as accountability, analyzing the meanings and usage of keywords – sharing insights from practitioners and researchers from around the world.
Case studies that showcase ARC’s approach to amplifying the voices of frontline actors and movements through research, and of enabling them to set the research agenda.
