DPU submission to UN Call for Input: Decriminalisation of homelessness and extreme poverty
Dr Paroj Banerjee recently contributed to a Joint submission to UN Special Rapporteurs on the right to adequate housing and extreme poverty and human rights.

DPU announces YUP Project launch
The Bartlett Development Planning Unit announces the launch of a new research project YUP (Co-producing Youth Inclusive Digital Urban Governance) and a poster competition on the topic ‘Young People’s Role in the City’.

Professor Le-Yin Zhang presents at World Habitat Day 2023
DPU’s Professor Le-Yin Zhang was invited to attend World Habitat Day 2023 in Baku, Azerbaijan earlier this month. The theme for this year’s World Habitat Day was ‘Resilient urban economies. Cities as drivers of growth and recovery’.

Dr Liza Griffin and Dr Gemma Moore awarded Knowledge Exchange Grant for healthy parks

Congratulations to DPU’s Dr Liza Griffin who, alongside joint collaborator Dr Gemma Moore from IEDE has been awarded Knowledge Exchange funding for a project entitled ‘Co-producing an Online Platform for the Healthy Parks Framework’.

An output from the MSc Urban Development Planning (UDP) Overseas Practice Engagement 2023 in Cebu, Philippines.

The video considers the centrality of practice to the overall pedagogic aims of the programme, and documents the case studies as well as the research processes and findings of the students of the MSc UDP.
