From panels to papers: Call for papers following DSA2024.

Gender norms change for gender justice

Following PE08, Camilly Maubert, Eyram Ivy Sedzro and Sophie Legros are organising a special issue on the panel topic: “Gender norms change for gender justice: rethinking theory and practice.” for the journal Development in Practice.

Deadlines for 6,000-7,000 words manuscripts is the 15th of November 2024. The special issue can also include practice notes of 3,000 words and we encourage practitioners to share their experiences and viewpoints via this medium.

Global South researchers in development studies:

Following the panel Why Are You Not Doing Research in Your Home Country? Dissecting Expectations of ‘Developing Countries’ Researchers, Ilaha Abasli, Ahmed El Assal and Yasmine Hafez have a Call for Chapters for a book which aims to bring together voices from the Global South to discuss their fieldwork experiences and reflections, thereby generating a grounded theoretical proposition on Global South researchers’ reflexivity and positionality in the field of development studies.
