Niheer Dasandi appeared on NDTV to discuss the findings of the new Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change report on 30th October. 

The Thinking and Working Politically (TWP) Community of Practice have published two new publications and their Nov-Dec Newsletter:

IDD PGR, Krisna Puji Rahmayanti, was awarded the Public Administration Prize for the most publishable paper to her work, ‘Patterns of Collaboration in Disaster Response: A Case Study of Health Services during the West Nusa Tenggara Earthquake Response 2018’ at the UK Association for Public Administration’s conference. Krisna won a cash award and will be mentored by the journal Public Administration in developing her work for publication.

IDD PGR, Mia Hyun, in her role as the USAID Senior Regional Gender and Inclusive Development Advisor – organised the delegation from the US government (USAID and State Dept) representation to the UN-ESCAP Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on the Beijing+30 Review Thirtieth Anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women and adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform of Action (1995) (19 ─ 21 November 2024, United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok). She drafted the interventions delivered by the US government during the plenary and organised and moderated a side event on Accelerating Investment in Gender Equality:  Financing and Policy Reforms, featuring a panel of experts from the World Bank, UN Women, and UNFPA.
