Reframing Aid: A strengths-based Approach to International Development by Keren Winterford, Deborah Rhodes and Christopher Dureau and published by Practical Action Publishing is the winner of the 2024 DSAA book prize.

DSA Australia is the memberships association for development practitioners and researchers in Australia. On judging the competition, DSAA said the books presented for the award in 2024 were of a very high standard and spoke to the different ways that we define development and development studies.

The Prize committee reviewed the books submitted with consideration of their:
• theoretical sophistication
• methodological rigour
• lucid writing
• originality
• relevance to development practice
