DSA2020: New Leadership for Global Challenges
University of Birmingham, 17-19 June 2020
DSA2020 conference to go Virtual!
In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, DSA2020 will now be held as a virtual, online conference, taking place over the same dates: 17-19 June. While still researching the virtual platform to be used, we aim to mimic as closely as possible the format and events of our in-person conferences, allowing for as much participant interaction and networking as possible.
Once we’ve chosen a platform and approach, we will provide detailed information, tutorials and guides for all participants in advance of the event.
We are excited, under these exceptional global circumstances, to attempt to provide you with a novel and virtual conference experience this year and hope you will join and support us in this new initiative for the DSA.
Registration fee decrease
Fees will decrease but rates are yet to be set. You may still register at this time as the categories remain the same, but please do not pay until new rates are set. If you’ve already paid, we’ll refund the difference once rates are set. If you’ve yet to pay, please hold-off making payment, as we’ll re-invoice you once new rates are set. If you’ve paid and no longer wish to participate, email us and we will refund you in full.
The registration fee includes access to all sessions of the virtual conference over 3 days.
The old conference fees are:
DSA members or NGO workers*: £240
Concessions (student/retirees/no income): £200
Concession members of DSA (student/retirees/no income): £170
*NGO workers can select the DSA member option price.
Please note that while joining DSA is not compulsory we strongly encourage you to do so, and support the community! Indeed the non-member rate is priced to encourage membership. Signing up for membership and paying the membership fee is a separate process from registering for the conference and paying the registration fee. Membership for students is only £10. For further information about DSA membership and to join up, please visit the DSA membership page.
Registrations cancelled (notifying us by email) more than three weeks before the conference will be refunded, less a small amount to cover administrative and finance costs. Cancellations made within three weeks of the event will be ineligible for such a refund, due to costs already incurred. Refunds at that point will be discretionary.
